Maddie has been on the ice since before she was born, and has been skating since she could walk. Maddie grew up in a family of figure skating professionals, high level hockey players, and coaches of many sports; she knows what it takes to be a skilled athlete, coach, and mentor of a sport.  

Maddie has a natural enthusiasm to see her fellow skaters excel and stay in the sport for life. Her goal is to ensure that all who want to learn, perfect, and perform on the ice are able to do so in an environment that continually strives to assist its membership to be the best that they can be. Maddie is a Gold Test skater in all four Skate Canada disciplines, and continues to skate as an Adult Skater.

Maddie has developed her abilities through her multi-club experience through her years as a coach and skater to create quality programming that focus on communicating expectations with her skaters, and developing basic skating skills in order to create a solid foundation for their skating careers. Maddie is also very skilled in the art of choreography, where she excels at matching music, with the skating style, and technical skills of a skater, to create programs that skaters enjoy performing and perfecting.
